A Navy Pier Ferris Wheel Proposal
“No sooner than we were loaded in and moving, Jared looked at me and said, “Before you say anything, let me finish.” Uh-oh. Where is this going? “There is no conference in Chicago this weekend.” WHAT?! Oh wait, I’m supposed to let him finish. I’ll be quiet. “The reason why I brought you to Chicago this weekend is so that I could tell you that I love you very much and I wanted to know if you would marry me.” Whoa, this is happening. Seriously, what?! Oh yeah, I’m supposed to say yes now. “YES!!” Cue the waterworks (hidden beneath my sunglasses). He went on to reveal other plans he had made for the weekend, including a fancy dinner, a play, and a concert. It was an amazing engagement weekend.”
You could play the song “Love Makes The World Go Round.”
Imagine playing it during your ceremony. You could use a different version during cocktail or dinner music. There’s the Broadway version or the Jazz, R&B version. Think of other ways you could use the song.
