The countdown continues…
There’s a classic on this list. There’s a fun upbeat song that’s not for everyone (but maybe for you). There’s a sweet country twanged song with a lot of heart, and an upbeat hit from a modern pop crooner. Can you guess what they are?
You might be nervous before your first dance, but once the music begins it’s just the two of you together.
Our next song comes in at number 7. It’s another one of my personal favorites. And yes, it’s by the above mentioned crooner from Canada.
So many good lines in this song. The first verse is magic “You’re a fallen star… yo’re the line the sand when I go too far..” It’s Michael Buble’s Everything. Great song, upbeat, great voice, great lyrics. The video on YouTube has had nearly 29.5 million views! And it is fun to watch too:
One thought on your mind before your dance begins might relate directly to the title of the song: As you look into each other’s eyes, take each other’s hand, “You’re every line, you’re every word, you’re everything”.
The words on everyone’s mind after the song should be one of joy mixed with the heart of the message of the song: Well it’s kind of goofy but: “You’re very song, and I sing along, cause you’re my everything. So, la, la, la, la, la, la, la.” Sweet.
What’s your favorite and is it on this list? We’d love to know.
Thank you!
Coming up a song…
At the end of this series, I’ll give you two tips that will place the experience of your First Dance deep into the hearts and minds of your guests for a long time to come.
