I don’t know where they got this one. But I think they got it wrong.
Some songs fade into obscurity due to generations dropping off the demographic of your guest list. Think of the 1921 smash hit by Van & Schenck “Ain’t We Got Fun?”. We just don’t get that one requested much, you know.
But Stayin’ Alive from Saturday Night Fever, still gets a good sing-along crowd.
So I think the Knot got this one wrong.
You get to decide though because, if you like it, we like it. If you don’t, we don’t.

The Knot says this:
3. “Stayin’ Alive” — Bee Gees
Why to Skip It: There aren’t too many people who know more than one line and one dance move to this song — leave “Stayin’ Alive” to the Saturday Night Fever reruns.
