Do you have another Love in your life? Is he or she going to be a part of your new family now?
If you have a dog, cat, ferret, gecko, or parrot you know; pets can play a big part in your life.
In fact before bringing anyone special into your life your pet has been one of the most special people in your home.
So you might be considering having them at the ceremony, or in some of the engagement photos, right?
Here are 5 tips for your beloved pooch at your wedding.
1. Fido, you need to leave the play toys at home today. Go for a walk before your time with your new Mom & Dad. It’ll take the edge off and then you can pay more attention to them
2. Princess, if you think for one moment this day is just about you, think again. You will be pampered, adored, and paid a lot of attention, but don’t you dare try to steal the limelight from your King & Queen.
3. Max, you’re a tough guy. I get it. You’ll knock anyone’s block off that comes within 50 feet of your meal ticket. But today you are going to love the world and the world is going to love you. Listen to your Master’s commands and chill. It’s a grand day for you and all.
4. Tiny, you may be little, but you’ve got a big heart. When you walk down that aisle follow the runner to the front, hold that basket tight between your teeth. When you get to the front give the basket up, don’t squirm when the lovely bridesmaid picks you up, and smile that toothy, tongue hanging out thing you like to do. And whatever you do during the ceremony don’t do that pitchy yap you do when anyone you don’t know comes to the door.
5. Maggy, you’ve been numero uno for a long time. Now there’s going to be three. You’re new Dad loves you, and you’re crazy about him too. Sit nice and pretty at their side, while the officiant goes on in glowing terms about you. And please, please go to the doggy restroom before things get started. You’ll have a great time and then someone will take you back to the house until after the honeymoon. It’s a good life!
