How To Plan Ahead for Your Wedding Ceremony
You’ve got a lot to do. Make it easier. Here’s How To Plan Ahead for Your Wedding Ceremony. Your welcome. 🙂
If you are planning an outdoor wedding there are just a few key things to take care to make it perfect.
- Weather 2. The Route you’ll take to the ceremony 3. The timing
- WEATHER: If you’re planning an outdoor ceremony, you want to make it as stress-free as possible. Having a Plan B is essential.
- ROUTE: The route you walk to the front where your ceremony takes place could change if you can’t be outdoors. But you have to have a plan B. Once you know what your alternate will be you can take a look at how the processional will go. Not looking at this might mean you and your guests don’t have enough room, or are confused about where to stand. A rehearsal can help this, but if you change the location AFTER the rehearsal without practicing….
- TIMING: The day before gives you plenty of time to adjust the set up. Waiting till the day of to change where the ceremony will be due to rain, heat, or cold, makes it a little harder for everyone. DON’T wait until the last minute and then not change your plan. This leaves you and your guests in danger of inclement weather, and the inconvenience of possibly missing part of the ceremony due to a down pour or heat stroke. 🙂
Just one more word about timing. “Get Me To The Church On Time” is a cute song but it’s more really about a window of opportunity. Now that doesn’t mean we have all the time in the world. In fact the last thing you want to do is have your guests sitting out in the elements waiting forever. And you also don’t want to delay so long that you push everything else forward in such a way that you run out of time.
