Looking to make the best of your wedding morning routine? Some helpful tips to for your Chicago Wedding Morning Routine.
Chicago Wedding Morning Routine
You’ll probably be up very early that day. Who can sleep?! So here are 5 things to help you make the most of your Chicago Wedding Morning Routine.
Make Your Bed
You probably already do this. I had to learn the hard way. All those years of getting up after DJing till all hours, feeling as if something was just not right with the day. Was it the loud, jamming, music party I was at the night before? The lack of sleep? Making my bed set my mind right. It helped me see that I can accomplish anything by starting the day right. Meditation and positive attitude help too. Not easy when you haven’t had your morning dose of caffeine. Your going to have a great day. Making your bed is the first step in your Chicago Wedding Morning Routine.
Workout
You’ve got a lot to do this morning. Getting a run in, yoga, or some strength training might not be high on your list for your wedding day. Or it might be just the thing. Getting in a little exercise can get your mind right for all the activity of the day ahead. I like to feel that I’m staying in shape. Having a delicious pre-workout energizing drink and a post workout recovery drink helps. I know a bride who ran a 5K the morning of her wedding. Now that’s a Chicago Wedding Morning Routine. Breakfast
Hey, it’s the most important meal of the day. Especially on your wedding day. You and your groom should make sure you have enough fuel to get you through. Don’t skip any meals. Eat something light, but stay nourished. And hydrated. I like to pack in the protein. My favorite current breakfast is an unsweetened almond milk smoothie with a banana, macha green tea powder, a cup of organic kale, and full scoop of chocolate Vega Sport. Yum!
Emails
On your wedding day you’ll want to stay in touch. There’s no way around this. I can’t stay off of any social media channels for too long. It’s cool. Once upon a time it made sense to disconnect. And just like any other day you’ll want to manage your communication time. But there’s just so much to share and be aware of. So check your emails, tweets. Maybe for a minute you can have your maid of honor send some things out to Instagram. It’s your day, your choice. It’s nice to share.
