3. Create your wedding website or not.
TheKnot.com let’s you create a website for free. I think for most people it’s a good idea. Personally I’d rather see your activity and story unfold on social media, like Facebook of Twitter. But there are creative ways to use your website. One thing you’ll want to decide is wether to list your registry online. Again most people will, and it’s a good idea because people will want to know. Once you’ve set up your registries, link them from your website so guests have an easy way to find where you’re registered.
4. Send out Save The Dates.
Sure, you could email your guests, but we think a more personal alternative is still the best route for a wedding Save The Dates. This is where your creativity begins to get some great use. Also, here’s a great article about Save The Dates from Chicago Style Weddings Magazine.
With all this planning you’re going to need a break. Make a date to go see a new holiday movie release. Or you could stay home and be cozy while watching one of your favorites. Especially relevant are some of these holiday classics.
