Hope you’ve enjoyed this Countdown to Christmas in Chicago as much as we have.
7. Call your bridal party and get the party started.
It’s the holidays, you’ll be spending time with family. But if you have any chance this is a great time to get everyone together. You can talk about some of the plans. You can even tell the bridesmaids what you have planned for their dresses. I like choosing a color and style and then having your bridesmaids get what looks great on them. The guys have tux rentals (Check out Xedo), or as I mentioned last week why not have a suit made? Check out Gentlemen’s Cooperative, ask for Blake Alexander. These guys without a doubt will be one of the best experiences grooms have getting ready for the wedding..
8. Who else is on the team?
This is where you can start to organize your time and develop your vision for the team to execute. Who else do you need to find? Has anyone you know recommended a florist, photographer, videographer, cake baker and DJ (or band)? If you only have one vendor that is your stellar pick in that category let them suggest to you other vendors you still need. What’s great about this is, if everyone is available, you could end up with an A-team that works together in the best possible way.
