We can still have the things we love for Thanksgiving in Chicago 2020. It may just have to be in a different setting. But one thing is certain, you’ll want to consider how you bring it all together.
Thanksgiving in Chicago 2020
Hopefully you’ll spend it with friends and family. Here are some things to remember this holiday weekend.
There won’t be any skating at Millennium Park
There are still lots of couples getting engaged. And despite Covid19 mitigations it’s a whirlwind of activity. You might already be engaged, in which case you’ll be engaged and having your first Thanksgiving together as an couple.
So if you can’t be with your loved ones you’ll still be spreading happiness with your good news.
Parades, Christkindlemarket, and all activities have been cancelled.
The Macy’s tree has been lit and they are excepting reservations.
But much of what we plan now is at home. And you can do it with some adjustment.
Planes, Trains and Automobiles (1987)
Thanksgiving movies aren’t nearly so plentiful as Christmas movies, but this John Hughes road comedy about a snobby executive (Steve Martin) and a schlubby salesman (John Candy) thrown together on a bad-luck-beset trek home for the holiday is surely one of the best.
